In addition to our local chapters (Bethels) and local activities all over Ohio, there is also a State level, consisting of adults and girls from all over Ohio who help govern the state and create all the fun events members and friends can attend and participate in. Events such as our Ohio Miss Job's Daughters' Pageant (where girls compete in a pageant to become our Official Spokesperson for the year), Grand Session (our state convention where every year new officers for both girls and adults are elected and appointed as well having as all kinds of competitions-sports, arts & crafts, sewing, photography, and more to compete in for trophies), State volleyball tournaments, leadership conferences, (well-chaperoned) dances with the boy's youth group, camping weekends, "Winter Weekends", and so much more!!
The state level is composed of two parts- the adult leaders, the Grand Council, and the girl leaders, the Grand Bethel. The heads of the Grand Council are the Grand Guardian and the Associate Grand Guardian, these two people, with their officers, work with the head of the Grand Bethel, the Grand Bethel Honored Queen and her officers, along with the Ohio Miss Job's Daughter and Ohio Miss Congeniality to create a fun, safe environment for the members to prosper in, learn and assume leadership roles, earn money for charities among many other things, and most importantly- have fun with their "sisters"!!
